Operation Uganda - Russ & Jenny Barton
Russ and Jenny Barton pioneered Operation Uganda in 2005 and prior to birthing Operation Uganda, were Youth Pastors at our Hope Centre Logan Campus.
They have impacted and transformed thousands of lives over the years. Uganda has one of the world's youngest populations with 50% under the age of 15 yrs.
They rescue and care for orphaned and vulnerable children and create sustainable community development projects in Uganda, one of the poorest countries in the world.
Operation Uganda focuses primarily on the most vulnerable and destitute children. All the children in our scholarship program must meet a strict criterion of being either orphaned or vulnerable. The women in their empowerment projects are either widowed or solo mothers in destitute situations. Your support makes a real difference to the world’s most needy.
